Meet Our Therapists

BETH MILLER, LCSW-R, CEC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Life Coach, Energy healer, and Spiritual Counselor. She is Clinical Director and Owner of Positive Energy Counseling Center and is the creator of Advanced Holistic Counseling tm, an evolved counseling model that combines the absolute best tools from psychotherapy, life coaching, energy healing, science, and spirituality.   She has been in practice for over 20 years and treats clients individually.  Beth also guides meditation and mindfulness, Positive Energy Manifesting, and Communicating with Angels and Guides groups.  She is also the creator of the online therapy course The Soul Cure For Anxiety

Beth specializes in healing anxiety, depression, negativity, discontent, disempowerment, and lack of clarity.  She helps clients tap into their unique strengths and juice their challenges to transform their lives.   Beth believes that one of her most significant roles is to teach clients the skills and tools of happiness and success so that they can align with their highest selves on their own.  Beth teaches people to communicate effectively, set boundaries, master their thoughts and energy, let go of suffering, find deep and real contentment, radically trust, reprogram subconscious blocks, and use their energy to manifest and attract the lives they truly desire. She enables clients to heal their energy blocks, reprogram their mental patterns, connect with The Soul’s Eye view of their life challenges, use neurobiology to rewire their brains, communicate with their intuition and guides, and teaches them the most effective ways to meditate, visualize, and be mindful.  During individual sessions with Beth she uses her deep intuition to assess a client’s energetic imbalances and life themes and assess what needs healing for them to evolve.

Beth’s earlier years as a psychotherapist specialized in severe depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide, trauma, childhood sexual abuse, rape/sexual assault, partner abuse, eating disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder.  As a Trauma Expert and Sexual Abuse Therapist at The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, she treated clients individually and led Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and PTSD groups.  She then ran the adolescent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups at LIDBT, a pioneering DBT treatment center.  Beth has also been a case manager for a Diagnostic Center in Crown Heights Brooklyn, a community organizer at LIGALY and The Gay and Lesbian Center in NYC, a street-van counselor for FROST’D helping sex workers in New York City, a community organizer for women’s and sex trafficking issues, a volunteer sexual assault counselor, an HIV educator, and organized the painting of community murals.

Beth is an avid speaker and workshop presenter and was the co-creator of the first Women’s Wellness Day on Long Island attended by over 300 women and girls. As a professional speaker, she teaches the staff in School Districts, corporations, and groups how to manifest, have positive energy, to choose love over fear and stress, and how to use EFT tapping, meditation, and progressive therapy to live a higher life.

Beth has been featured on several radio stations, including WUSB 90.1 and 94.3 The Shark as an expert in choosing love and mastering energy.  Her blog and YouTube Videos are meant to provide free tools to help anyone in need.

“Beth, I don’t know where to start.  You have helped me in ways you can’t even imagine.  I think the fact that you are so intuitive is a great skill you bring to therapy.  Not every therapist can tune in like you, I want you to know that our sessions not only heal me beyond what I ever expected, but blow me away. I did not expect to come in the other day and hear from my brother who died so many years ago.  The message you gave from him was spot on (even his personality was right on!).  Thank you, thank you.  Also, the fact that you are both so grounded-  but also that you bring EFT, energy work, and spiritual counseling- to our sessions has created huge breakthroughs for me.  I’m actually living the life we create in my Life Vision.   I would never want to go to a “regular” counselor after all of the special ways you have helped me.”

“My son was struggling before he started coming to Erin. He really responded her to after his first session and we felt a huge relief. He even looked lighter after speaking with her! We are so grateful to have been paired with her.”

“I had a wonderful and transformative experience during my time with Erin as my therapist.  Erin is extremely warm and kind.  She makes talking through hard things easy.  I felt comfortable with Erin the moment I met her.  She has a great way of truly validating my emotions and thoughts and would frequently circle back and help me realize things I did not before.  I highly recommend Erin as she helped me find my voice, become confident, and work through my feelings.  I also loved that she helped me create a vision statement and by the end of my time in therapy, everything in my vision statement came true because of her guidance.”
