You’ve probably heard that meditation and mindfulness help reduce distress while also increasing joy, health, positivity, brain functioning, manifesting power, contentment and intentional focus. People even LOSE WEIGHT and LOOK YOUNGER when they meditate regularly and are more mindful. It’s true!

Summer is the perfect time to grow and learn – life is a little slower, the days are longer, and the energy is high and receptive.
THIS IS AN 8-WEEK CLASS THAT WILL TEACH YOU:
• What it really means to be in the moment
• The mindset of mindfulness that makes ALL the difference
• The science and research behind why mindfulness is so effective
• How to apply Mindfulness to your own life to reduce stress, increase joy, and support your overall well-being
• How to TRULY be happy and peaceful, even when life is busy or imperfect
• How to bring mindful awareness to everyday activities
• How to meditate, even with a racing, busy, monkey mind!
MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS 8-WEEK SUMMER PROGRAM DATES:
July 9, 2019 – August 27th
Every Tuesday Evening 7:30-8:30pm
$79 weeks 1-4 (July 9, 16, 23, 30)
$79 weeks 5-8 (August 6, 13, 20, 27)
$138 FOR ALL 8 WEEKS (SAVE 20!)
The class is 8 weeks and it is highly recommended that you register for all 8 weeks.
**If there is room, we may be able to accommodate drop-in’s for $25 per class.
FREE INTRO CLASSES JUNE 18 and JUNE 25th, 7:30-8:30 PM
We will be kicking off this program with TWO FREE CLASSES before the 8 weeks begin! These introductory classes will help you learn more about mindfulness and what to expect during our summer program.
Join us for free on June 18th or June 25th @ 7:30-8:30 pm by Emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
These classes are cumulative, so attending all 8 is highly encouraged. Mindfulness and meditation are most effective when you practice and experience the skills regularly. While each class is designed to build on the previous class and we don’t want you to miss out on all of the fun information, you can sign up for July or August only. No matter how new or experienced you are, you will find this class to be informative, fun, and experiential!
YOUR TEACHER: Cina Hoey, LMSW, is a therapist at Positive Energy Counseling Center and is also a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher. She specializes in anxiety, depression, binge eating disorder, working with teens/twenty/and thirty-somethings, and is trained in Advanced Holistic Therapy by Beth Miller.
Cina is vibrant, bright, and a true devotee of mindfulness who has a passion for learning and teaching.
